  • A way of staying mindful in the moment is by appreciating all that is around you... the “5-4-3-2-1 Method” goes as follows: Stop and notice 5 different things you can see at this moment, notice 4 different sounds you are hearing, find 3 different objects you can feel, what are 2 smells you are experiencing, and finally, what do you currently taste?

  • Use the tactics mentioned in the recording to help distance yourself from your thoughts… try one at a time and figure out which one works best for you!
